Communities of Faith Called to Serve Together

One of the great joys of watching Southern Crossing go from a vision to a possibility to reality is seeing people of every faith and every denomination come together to support a common cause.
 
 

 
 
We’ve reached out to faith-based organizations throughout Southern Maryland, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. So many people have embraced the mission of Southern Crossing and given selflessly of themselves to bring it to life.
 
On any given day, the collection of volunteers working at Southern Crossing might include Christians, Muslims, Amish and Quakers. It’s a constant reminder that we are all united by compassion and humanity. We are all driven to lift up those who need it most.
